Rising anti-SARS-CoV-2 titer in a human immunoglobulin preparation

Aims: To assess potential changes of pharmacological activities a novel normal immunoglobulin for intravenous administration from pooled plasma (IVIG). Methods: We assessed the impact SARS-CoV-2 pandemic on level and activity pathogen-specific antibodies in IVIG batches produced before during pandemic. Antibody levels were determined by immunoassays. The functional was vitro neutralization. Results: In IVIG, antibody titer against bacteria, different viruses fungus found to be defined range, whereas titers common pathogens remained consistent over time, have increased within two years after onset comparable hyperimmunoglobulin preparation. These could neutralize cross-react with other coronaviruses. Conclusion: Increasing might beneficial special vulnerable patient groups.
